Supporting Career Returners: As part of its commitment to building inclusive workplaces and creating meaningful opportunities, Venesky Brown launched a new partnership with Making Work Work, an event supporting women returning to the workforce after career breaks.

The partnership kicked off in Edinburgh with Meet the Recruiters: A Conversation with Venesky Brown, an informal, in-person event designed to give attendees honest insights into the job market, the evolving nature of work and routes back into employment.

The event featured a panel of four Venesky Brown team members: Franca Calabretta, Alison Campbell, Claire Sandison and Eyrun Bernhardsdottir.

Together, they led an engaging discussion covering topics such as hybrid working, temporary contracts, job sharing and how AI is changing recruitment practices.

Attendees said the event gave them a fresh perspective on their career options, with many noting they had not considered alternative working patterns before. The open Q&A format, real-life advice and practical CV tips made a lasting impact.
