Venesky-Brown are recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative for ongoing works on the Sizewell Link Road at Sizewell C, Suffolk.
This is a long-term opportunity on a major UK infrastructure project and would suit an experienced civils or highways operative with a strong groundworks background.
Pay & Hours
DutiesTypical duties will include:
- General groundworks and civil engineering works
- Drainage and ducting
- Excavation and reinstatement
- Working around underground services
- Supporting highways and infrastructure works
- Operating plant where appropriately trained and ticketed
- Assisting with a variety of site activities as required
Essential RequirementsApplicants must have:
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card
- NVQ Level 2 in a relevant construction discipline
- Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Operative, Groundworker or Civils Operative
- Experience working on civil engineering, highways or infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of site health and safety
Additional CPCS or NPORS plant tickets would be advantageous
- £19.50 per hour PAYE
- Approximately 50 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime paid at:
- x1.5 after 39 hours
- Saturday – first 4 hours x1.5, then x2
- Sunday – x2
- Lodge available where eligable
Previous experience on Sizewell C or other major infrastructure projects would also be beneficial.
