Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a HR Generalist for a contract until end of January 2027 on a rate of £186.37/day (Inside IR35). This role is hybrid based.
Essential Skills:
– Comprehensive experience of working in a generalist HR role
– Experience of working with senior managers
– CIPD qualified
– Development of HR Related Policy and Procedure
– Experience of working on complex HR Casework
– Confident use of HR information systems
– Ability to identify key people management risks
– Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
– Ability to demonstrate integrity and credibility
– Ability to influence at all levels
– Ability to deliver organisation focused, solution based advice.
– Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for making decisions
– Ability to delegate effectively
– In depth knowledge of up to date employment legislation
– Ability to identify future risks in line with proposed changes to employment legislation
– Ability to present information confidently in a group setting
– Ability to manage conflict
– Confidently challenge resistance and bad practice
– Pro-active self-starter
